What We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide Disper's dispatching services and features. This includes:

• Email address and password (passwords are hashed on-device or server-side when applicable)
• Vehicle registration numbers
• Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN)
• Vehicle make and model
• Driver names
• Amazon IDs associated with drivers
• Phone numbers for contact or reminders
• Reminder titles, dates, and related metadata

How Data Is Stored

Data storage depends on your chosen plan:

• Free users: Data is stored locally on the device using a local database (Hive). Local storage keeps your fleet and reminders private to your device unless you explicitly enable cloud sync.
• Premium users: Optional cloud sync uses Firebase Firestore. For privacy and compliance we use Firestore instances located in the EU region when you enable premium sync.

Third Parties

The only third-party service used for cloud features is Firebase (Google LLC). Firebase is used solely for optional authentication and Firestore-backed storage for premium sync. We do not serve ads, embed tracking, or sell personal data to third parties.

Firebase operates under applicable privacy and security standards and offers tools to help meet GDPR obligations.

Data Retention

Retention policies vary by storage mode:

• Local data: Remains on your device until you uninstall the app or clear local data.
• Cloud (Premium) data: When you delete your account or request deletion, we remove your cloud-stored data and related backups within 30 days, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your personal data (where applicable)
• Request export of your data in a structured, commonly used format
• Withdraw consent to processing where processing is based on consent
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. Connections to cloud services use HTTPS/TLS. For premium sync we rely on Firebase Security Rules and Firestore protections. Passwords are hashed and stored securely; where possible hashing happens on-device before transmission.

No system is perfectly secure—protect your device with a passcode and use strong, unique passwords.

Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. When feasible, significant changes will be communicated through the app.
